Nights in Cafe Ada

It is no wonder why Cafe Ada is so wellknown and liked. The food is spectacular, new chef makes wonders and on Sundays the Thai kitchen is just something to travel for! There is a lot of tango around Wuppertal (Cologne, Essen etc) and great teachers. And they are very nice people too. We were so well taken care of and people were very friendly. We met old friends from Switzerland (Bergun trips and Zurich) and Germany plus made a lot of new friends. And on Saturday, what a milonga! So fantastic dancers and GOOD music (Vielen Danke Mehmet!) that one could travel for that a long way. We sincerely hope someone would get an idea and invite us again...

Cafe Ada Tango Wochenende Special 13.-15.6. Wuppertal

Mehmet and Friends have organized a very special weekend in a very special place: Cafe Ada in Wuppertal, Germany. On Friday night in Milonga Classica with DJ Jens there will be performances by Eladia and Klaus (ARG/GER), Dominik and Jelena (SUI/GER) and us Pasi and Maria.
On Saturday Eladia and Klaus teach special classes and Jelena and Dominik give a Taster in the evening. On Saturday evening there is Grosse Milonga with the Great DJ Mehmet. Jelena is going to perform her solo performance called 'Campari'.
On Sunday we give classes in Finnish Tango and then another class of Argentine tango (boleos with dynamic combis). Dominik and Jelena teach then a Giro class. The last class is a fun class with crazy combis together with Dominik and Jelena and us.
On Sunday evening we cool down in Chill Out Milonga by DJ Klaus who plays both neo and classical tango music.

Tien päällä taas.../ On the Road again...

Huomenna se taas alkaa, kesän reipas kiertoajelu! Aloitamme hengaamalla muutaman päivän Helsingissä, keskiviikkoon asti. Jos et ole vielä varannut yksäreitä, nyt on siihen vielä mahdollisuus. Tällä kertaa emme pidä ryhmätunteja tai milongaa, mutta seuraavalla kerralla sitten taas La Tortuga. 11.6. lähdemme Wuppertaliin ja riemuitsemme ja esiinnymme kuuluisassa milongassa lauantai-iltana ja opetamme sunnuntaina. Ja tietysti hengaillaan kulmilla ja tavataan kavereita...
16.6. maanantaina palaamme Helsinkiin yhdeksi yöksi ja tiistaina sitten Göteborgiin. Ehdimme hengailla sielläkin pari päivää ennenkuin tapaamme jälleen suosikki-maestromme, Gustavon ja Giselle Annen sekä Eugenian TangoCampissa. Ruotsin TangoCamp on kyllä kallis mutta totisesti hintansa väärti. Loistavat puitteet, opettajat ja milongat!
Maanantaina 23.6. palaamme jälleen pariksi päiväksi Helsinkiin (jos kaipaat kesäyksäreitä, ota yhteyttä), ja sitten Dusseldorfiin toiseen Tangocampiin. Sieltä palaamme jälleen maanantaina, ja jatkamme suoraan Joensuuhun illaksi. Tiistaista Perjantaihin opetamme ja biletämme susirajalla (Tervetuloa kaikki!!! Pinokin tulee!).
Perjantaina 4.7. sekä launataina 5.7. esiinnymme 2x15minuuttia Kuopion ViiniJuhlilla. La ja Su on myös tunteja, joten sinne vain kaikki suoraan Joensuusta!
...ja sitten pari viikkoa lomaa...!

Tomorrow we'll be on the road again, nice and recreational Summer Tour! We'll stay couple of days in Helsinki and we are available for couple of more private lessons. This time there will be no group classes or milonga, but next time then. On Wednesday the 11th we'll travel to Wuppertal to celebrate and perform in the Famous Milonga on Saturday and to give classes on Sunday.
On Monday the 16th we'll be back in Helsinki for one day, and on Tuesday we'll be in Gothenburg and again in Tylosand for TangoCamp rest of the week. And we'll meet again our favourite Maestros Gustavo, Giselle Anne and Eugenia!
On Monday we are back again for a few days in Helsinki. If you are up to some SummerPrivates, just give us a call. On Friday the 27th we'll hit the Dusseldorf TangoCamp for the weekend. On Monday we'll travel to Joensuu with Pino and teach there from Tuesday the 1st til Friday the 4th.
Directly from Joensuu we'll drive to Kuopio, where we'll perform on Friday and Saturday evening 2x15minutes show in Kuopio WineFestival. Also, on Saturday and on Sunday there will be workshops for several levels.
...and then holiday for two weeks...!!!

Tangotarinoita/Tangostories

Olemme lisänneet kotisivuillemme uuden napin - Pasin mielestä se on nappi koska sitä napsautetaan, Maria sanoisi että linkki koska sitä linksautetaan. Mutta linkit on Pasin mielestä otsikon 'Links' alla eikä nappien vieressä...
Joka tapauksessa siinä lukee 'Stories', ja siellä on tangotarinoita. Hienosta englanninkielisestä otsikosta huolimatta tämänhetkiset jutut ovat ihan suomeksi. Bailamos tango -juttu on julkaistu uudessa TanssiViihde -lehdessä hieman lyhennettynä. Tulevaisuudessa P.Astor kirjoittelee sinne musiikkiin ja tanssiin liittyviä juttuja säännöllisen epäsäännöllisesti. Marian syväluotaavia kirjoituksia myös Pasi odottaa kiinnostuneena.

We have added a new link on our Main Page! It says 'Stories' and basically means exactely that. Unfortunately for you, our English-speaking-visitor, the stories are so far only in Finnish, but if you wait a little, they will be translated. The other possibility is that You can study Finnish so you don't have to wait... More stories will be added sooner than you could imagine...
